by Luis S. González-Acevedo
When the world that knows our birth names disappears…
Do given names really matter?
When life is cruel & unpredictable…
Are the names we choose significant?
Do birth and chosen names hold any relevance?
What our names are… Does it matter?
When the only certainty at birth is scant,
life comes without assurance
and our breaths subside and scatter.
