Gothic Jill’s Morning Face
by Luis S. González-Acevedo
Her flushed pale face
reflecting in the mirror
awaits the shadowed trace
of Revlon lip color.
Ghostly beauty in the shadow
of mascaras, lipsticks and liners.
Sensuous borders that follow
each morrow –her facial framing twiners.
My fingertips run
and smear her tar-lined eyes.
My tongue, her lips: depraving fun
concocting my demise
with geisha-like temptations
subdued by powdered passions.
