temporal anomaly
–may 31, 2020–
springfield, ohio
by Luis S. González-Acevedo
unowned by past when it was present
time left me unbound
in passing, the now releases its repellent
time’s disdain abounds
the future wants nothing as it comes
with smiles and treason
i was, i am and will be lost to all or some
in time’s mortal kiss tou aionos ton aionon
note: “tou aionos ton aionon” (τοῦ αἰῶνος τῶν αἰώνων) is a Greek phrase translated as “forever and ever” in the New Testament book of Ephesians 3:21
–temporal anomaly will appear in a future book of poems & stories (release date | July 2021)–
